Hauswerks

hauswerks

A childhood of spending your lunch money on Jungle records, reading your older brothers Eternity magazine and amassing rave- tapes does a lot to a person. Underground music culture becomes a part of your DNA and no matter how hard the ‘real world’ tells you to do something sensible, it just doesn’t resonate.
This is the story of Hauswerks. Whilst his preferred tempos may have slowed down over the years, his obsession with grooves is more prominent than ever. Having made the decision to work in music whilst still packing a P.E kit for school, Hauswerks has notched-up well over a decade of studio experience, producing with and engineering for globally recognized names such as Steve Lawler, Doorly and Mark Knight to name but a few.
2015 was a big year for Hauswerks which saw his debut releases on Hot Creations and VIVa Music light up clubs and charts around the world as well as the former charting at #2 in Jamie Jones’ ‘Top Tunes of the Summer’ and gaining continued support from Radio1’s dance music specialist Annie Mac. His regular trips over to the white isle this year saw him smashing up the dance floors at Sankeys Ibiza for both Steve Lawler’s ‘Viva Warriors’ and Doorly’s ‘Shelter’ parties where he’ll be back again this season to do his thing once again. Hauswerks studio experience and know-how have recently attracted the attention of major publications like Mixmag and Future Music Mag who have featured him in a video and 4-page spread in the iconic production magazine, showcasing how he goes about his business, and demonstrating his creative ability to stay ahead of the game as an artist.
It’s this ever-growing platform that he will continue to build upon in 2016. Collaborations with Josh Butler, Anek and Montel on Gruuv and Material will lead him into the New Year along with his new 3-track solo EP recently released on Lost Records. With the caliber of support from internationally renowned artists already gained it’s clear that the next 12 months ahead will be very significant in the rise of Hauswerks….
